Day-of-Surgery Instructions for Your Comfort and Safety
Advanced Surgical Institute requires all of its patients to follow specific instructions for their day of surgery. It’s very important that you follow these instructions carefully for your comfort and safety. Not following the instructions might lead to your surgery being cancelled.
A Week Before the Day of Surgery
- Arrange for a responsible adult to accompany you to the surgery center, drive you home and stay with you during the first 24 hours after surgery. You will not be allowed to drive home after surgery.
The Day Before Surgery
- When the surgery center calls you to confirm your surgery appointment, feel free to ask any last minute questions.
